fixed my problem with letter D. There seems to be a lot of people with this same problem, I hope there is a fix I am overlooking. Maybe give some of the suggestions here a try and see if you have any luck? It happened this morning for probably 5 minutes and just again when i got home from work, again they were only "broken" for about 5 minutes or so.

  • A recurring theme out in that vast Internet of ours suggested making sure that Mouse Keys, an OS X feature was turned off.

  • I discovered quite at random that if I press hard on the case on the speaker grilles to either side of the affected row (QWERTYUIOP), it starts working again.

What recommendations do you have? Apple Laptop Keyboard Not Working I definitely love this 17" so I hope this is just of single, correctable glitch. Deadlines to meet, busy busy busy, and what should be the stumbling block?

If this fails to work perhaps try creating a new user account, open something that allows you to type text and hit the key that doesnt work, hopefully if this works I tried toggling it on, off, on and then off again but my number 6 still refused to work. How to fix a Mac keyboard: Check the connection If you've replaced the batteries and checked the power, and the keys still don't work, then you should disconnect and reconnect your Remove the USB keyboard and plug it into a different port.

Chances are a quick visit to OS X Settings will fix a non-working Apple keyboard. I mean, you're basically magic…. I'm floored.
