So the problem was that some the services were shut down, while this particular service was hanging. It seems to have been killed after a timeout occurred (one hour), after which windows has rebooted as intended. Do I need an Indie Studio Name? The only time i get this is when theres a network issue or the target computer is shutdown or computer name is wrong. I'm not sure what a normal response is, but for me the command window clears and leaves a cursor.
