The picture shows a complete o ring on the left and a perished o ring on the right. I have checked for loose or damp connections, kinked pipes, taken off and cleaned the EGR valve. The car now thinks the door is open all the time, so the interior lights etc stay on all the time, and i cannot lock the car. If the wiring is not the problem then it is likely to be a control unit issue.
