This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc. I find that the Puffin Browser still works perfectly(with the added benefit that Puffin supports Flash content). It froze on the clock screen after updating and I had to force restart it a couple of times to get it to work again. On the iPad2 I have no problems with Google search result links..
Regarding Safari - do not use it until Apple will "be so kind" to do their job and release an update of the update. The "reinstall Mountain Lion" fix lasted just a few days before it choked again yesterday. For me, it affects chrome as well as safari. Pushing out an update with so many bugs clearly shows that Apple's QA process is completely broken. Now the life of the battery is no better than it was before the new battery. I had just had a new battery installed (by Apple) at £55. My phones not even an old model! To date I've never had either an OSX or IOS update problem.
The Bad News: links in Safari and Mail still do not work. I made it a priority to read, read, read, to learn about how each and every one of my computers and mobile devices work.
